What it should be.
Looking back on my senior session, way back in the day (we're talking film here), I remember it being so uncomfortable and awkward. I showed up with a couple of outfits to a dark studio and stood where I was told. She took the photos and I left. In the end I never felt like the photo's really captured who I was. What I was in to, or the person I saw myself as. This is a milestone memory that one day, years from now, you should be able to look back on with some fondness and in that instance I think she missed the mark. We can do better!
Before every session, I like to schedule a consult with your senior. We can sit down and talk about what their into, what they want to see from their session and how we're going to achieve it. This way we can build a report and a level of comfort that lets them shine in their session.
With each senior session I include a future "Cap and Gown" mini session. We can get together one more time to shoot your senior in their graduation garb, making the memory complete. This is a quick 30 minute session that is included with your package.
